Gardens Secondary School (GSS)

In the Secondary School there are 530 internationally minded students who come from all around the globe. The academic programs in our secondary school provide rigor and challenge as well as depth, breadth and variety across all disciplines.

Grades 6-10 students are engaged in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program

Grades 11-12 students follow the IB Diploma Program.

Our focus on dynamic teaching and learning of small class sizes, within our unique location, creates a special bond between students and teachers. We actively support our students, providing them opportunities to lead and become effective communicators through extensive programming. In-class specialist support further helps in providing opportunities for collaborative interactions in small groups where students are engaged in authentic inquiry and meaningful discussions.

We have a rich and varied co-curricular activities program where some of the teams and clubs also travel within the Kingdom. There is an active Student Council that functions on behalf of the student body and has been key in establishing a positive culture within the school.

One of our many aims is to keep parents informed of their child’s educational journey. Each student is assigned an advisor who is the key contact for parents and thus provide a means for communication between the school and home.
