Tuition and Fees

Tuition
- The KAUST School (TKS) is a valuable benefit provided free of charge to the eligible faculty, staff, and postgraduate students of KAUST. This reflects KAUST’s commitment to supporting families within its academic and professional community.
- Please note: Postdoctoral fellows are required to pay tuition for a third child enrolled at TKS.
- Tuition and fees apply for students enrolled as dependents of eligible service providers, business partners, or consultants. These fees are invoiced by KAUST Finance to the relevant service providers, which then manages internal payment arrangements with their employees. Consultants, including visiting faculty, are invoiced directly and are responsible for settling their tuition fees individually.
- Tuition is charged on a semester basis, and enrollment represents a commitment for the full semester. Parents and sponsoring employers are responsible for the full semester tuition, regardless of the number of school days attended.
- For students who enroll after the start of the second semester, tuition will be prorated to half of the annual tuition, in addition to the applicable admission fee.
- Please note that no tuition credit or waiver is provided for absences due to illness, vacation, school holidays, suspension, expulsion, withdrawal, or any other reason.
- Students requiring intensive learning support services will be assessed an additional annual fee.

Fees
- TKS charges a nominal fee to contribute to the cost of technology, supplies, and materials. The monthly charge applies to all students enrolled in TKS via payroll deduction or direct payment over 10 months (August-May).
- Grades K2-G5: SR 200 per student per month
- Grades G6-G12: SR 275 per student per month
- This charge will be deducted from the monthly payroll for KAUST employees and students. Non-KAUST employees will be invoiced separately for this charge.
